Physical exercise impacts mental stress

There is an interesting perspective to understand how physical health affects mental stress levels. As we all know, that physical exercise reduces stress.

We made this interesting stress graph just to show it in real-time by using Stressgraph app,  how physical excercise changed stress level during the day.

This is how it look like

As you can see, in the picture above, my obersavations started around 15:15, where my stress levels were around Orange dotted line and when I finished around 20:15 my average stress level was below green dotted line.

Through this we can conclude, that physical excercise impacts mental stress.

How to stay productive

HPLabs is part of GoGrow program, which is accelerator program for startups at CBS/CSE in Copenhagen. As for any startup, it quite imporant, that startups need to achieve so many things, with least resources and in least possible time.
So how it is possible ?  yes, you guessed it right, by being productive. Being productive is not so easy, as you might have experienced, some days are so productive, while some other days are not so productive. It happens, that some days you are really fresh, physically fit and you slept well at night, so next you are productive. But some days, you are not so productive....did you realize why it is so?

Yes, we are eating healthy, we are doing physical exercise and we are trying to sleep well, but some days are still same, nothing works out or not so productive.

Anxiety or Stress, is the issue, which we have to deal on daily basis, because of pressing deadlines or investor meeting, or potential customer meeting or it could be deadline for funding application. We normally don't realize that stress makes us unproductive. That is exactly what HPLabs is doing, we are trying to solve this problem, by giving them tool to keep a tap on their anxiety/stress level and by having stress under control, one can stay productive all the time.

Check it out our website, and if you want to have access to our app in beta, register your email on the website.

Ayurvedic way of measuring pulse

I have been working on stress measuring product for a while now based on heart pulse. More about that later, meanwhile I came across this Ayurvedic way of measuring the heart pulse. It is quite interesting as, you don't need any equipment, just fair amount of knowledge and practice.

Check this out, here let me know, if you have some comments.

Life after Intel

I stopped working at Intel(I was working with their mobile platform team), officially at the end of October. Life is quite exciting since then, I don't know, if I should thank Intel for it.

Let me brief here, why it is exciting for me now.

Just after the news, I got the opportunity for enrolling myself for Copenhagen Talent Bridge, which is kind of accelerator program, which focuses on international startup environment based in Copenhagen. During the program we are going through various lectures, assigned with mentors & experts from the industry in their fields.

This is how the program looked on the surface

  • Lean Market Entry: It focused on discovering the right business model early on with a minimal organization and continuous market testing. I learn the tools by applying them directly to the business. I also went out talking to direct/indirect prospective customers and got their feedback.
  • Testing your Assumptions and Building Sales Pipeline: Here I tested and documented business model assumptions. Further I developed the plan for running those action plans for next 5-6 months that will provide the a sales pipeline for first customer base.
  • Pitching to Partners: It was the most exciting for me to learn presentation techniques, as I haven't done these things extensively during my career so far in my software development career. I also learnt how to build and execute a successful pitch to partners (investors, customers, etc). I am developing a storyboard and storytelling using the latest methods for visual design, the McKinsey Pyramid Principle, etc. I am highly impressed with this guy, that I will mention him here, he is from convinced.dk, you will definitely pick few skills set from his lessons or through his workshops. No, I am not getting any kickbacks by recommending him.
  • Master Class on Capital Needs: In this phase, I will learn about "live investor negotiations" if at all I will decide to go for investor: What are my capital needs? How to valuate the startup? How do you get on the investor radar? What is the right investor presentation etc.

I am also working for an Idea, which is bigger than idea itself rather it involves behavioral change. Behavioral change is not a easy thing to implement, but if the society needs that, then may be at some point of time, it will work out.

I will elaborate on what kind of behavioral change, I am talking about, stay tuned !

Disclaimer: I was working at Intel as a consultant through a consulting firm Aricent Group in Copenhagen.
