Life after Intel

I stopped working at Intel(I was working with their mobile platform team), officially at the end of October. Life is quite exciting since then, I don't know, if I should thank Intel for it.

Let me brief here, why it is exciting for me now.

Just after the news, I got the opportunity for enrolling myself for Copenhagen Talent Bridge, which is kind of accelerator program, which focuses on international startup environment based in Copenhagen. During the program we are going through various lectures, assigned with mentors & experts from the industry in their fields.

This is how the program looked on the surface

  • Lean Market Entry: It focused on discovering the right business model early on with a minimal organization and continuous market testing. I learn the tools by applying them directly to the business. I also went out talking to direct/indirect prospective customers and got their feedback.
  • Testing your Assumptions and Building Sales Pipeline: Here I tested and documented business model assumptions. Further I developed the plan for running those action plans for next 5-6 months that will provide the a sales pipeline for first customer base.
  • Pitching to Partners: It was the most exciting for me to learn presentation techniques, as I haven't done these things extensively during my career so far in my software development career. I also learnt how to build and execute a successful pitch to partners (investors, customers, etc). I am developing a storyboard and storytelling using the latest methods for visual design, the McKinsey Pyramid Principle, etc. I am highly impressed with this guy, that I will mention him here, he is from convinced.dk, you will definitely pick few skills set from his lessons or through his workshops. No, I am not getting any kickbacks by recommending him.
  • Master Class on Capital Needs: In this phase, I will learn about "live investor negotiations" if at all I will decide to go for investor: What are my capital needs? How to valuate the startup? How do you get on the investor radar? What is the right investor presentation etc.

I am also working for an Idea, which is bigger than idea itself rather it involves behavioral change. Behavioral change is not a easy thing to implement, but if the society needs that, then may be at some point of time, it will work out.

I will elaborate on what kind of behavioral change, I am talking about, stay tuned !

Disclaimer: I was working at Intel as a consultant through a consulting firm Aricent Group in Copenhagen.
